Seasoned opposition politician Dr. Kiiza Besigye has decried the manner in which the State has continued to suppress people’s freedoms.
Speaking while commenting on the unrealistic detention of Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu, the former presidential aspirant stated that everything was aimed at breaking the heart of activism in the singing lawmaker.
Besigye implored his brother in the struggle to remain firm because they will soon overcome the ruling government injustices.
“As we were facing blatant injustice in Kasese, my brother @HEBobiwine was again facing NRM/M7 Junta persecution. It’s an attempt to break an Activists spirit. They don’t know that it’s the fire that hardens an Activist! Be strong brother. We shall overcome!” Besigye commented via his twitter handle.
