Philippe Coutinho has admitted he doesn’t know where he’ll be playing football next season after winning the Champions League with Bayern Munich on Sunday. Coutinho has been linked with a move to Arsenal on loan next season, but conceded he has to return to Barcelona from his loan and decide his future next.

Coutinho could become a man in demand this summer amid uncertainty over his future.

The Brazilian playmaker came off the bench in Sunday’s final win over Paris Saint-Germain in Portugal in what will likely be his last game for Bayern.

The newly-crowned European champions don’t want to fork out to make his stay permanent, leaving him open to a move elsewhere.

Having failed to make a mark at the Nou Camp, Barcelona were expected to try to sell him this summer in order to raise funds for their transfer plans.

But with new boss Ronald Koeman taking stock of his options, he has been tipped to keep the playmaker around and give him a chance in the first-team side.

Arsenal are still said to be keen in a loan move, as Barca are unwilling to make too much of a loss on the £145million they spent on him.

Speaking after the Champions League final, Coutinho admitted he is yet to decide whether or not he’ll try and fight for his place at the Nou Camp.

“Of course, I have to go back to Barcelona and then we’ll see what happens,” he said

“I haven’t really thought about it much, I’ve only been focused on the final.

“What I can say is that I really want to work hard to have a great year, but let’s see what happens.”

Coutinho made a good impression at Bayern, and played a big role in their route to the final.

The Brazilian scored twice in the 8-2 quarter-final win over Barcelona, and featured in the semi-final win over Lyon.
