Erute County South MP Survives Death at nearly at the same spot of Kiryandogo Accident

According to police reports, Gutumoi, who was driving his Toyota Noah registration number UAV 089 G, veered off his lane and collided with a Fuso Lorry registration number UAJ 730 at 3:30 a.m, at Karuma Bridge. The lorry was heading to Gulu. The MP sustained a fracture on his right leg.


Jonathan Odur, the Erute County South MP, says his colleague was heading to Kampala after officiating at a function in his constituency.

Gutumoi was transported in an Ambulance to Kampala.

Meanwhile, the accident also comes barely a month after another MP for Buyaga East Eric Musana nearly lost his life at Busimbi town in Mityana district.


The DPC Kiryandongo, Charles Okello, says preliminary investigations indicate that either the MP or the driver of the Fuso could have dozed off due to exhaustion.
