Fans are demanding to ban Ramos as they believe it was a deliberate tackle

However, Ramos will not be punished as this particular issue is not in the power of the Government or the House of Commons

Nearly 300,000 people (by Monday morning and counting) have signed a petition calling for Ramos ban after a dirty tackle on Salah that forced Klopp to replace his star early during the match.

The Madrid defender was also caught elbowing Karius a few minutes before his shocking blunder.

Fans are arguing if that were intentional actions from Sergio.

The petition says: “UEFA and FIFA should take measures against Ramos and similar players, using the video recordings of matches to keep the spirit of the game.”

Ramos may not get any retrospective action as such issue is not something that the Government or the House of Commons is responsible for.
