Engineer Andrew Kitaka has been appointed acting Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).
Kitaka was appointed KCCA ED by KCCA minister Beti Kamya following the resignation of Jennifer Mussi on October 15.
Kitaka has been serving as a director of engineering and technical services at KCCA, a position he has been holding since he was in KCCA.
Andrew Kitaka holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Makerere University and a Master’s degree in Road and Transportation Engineering from IHE/Delt University in the Netherlands.
He attended Kings College Buddo and Namilyango College for his O and A level, respectively.
He is a registered engineer with the Engineer’s Registration Board (ERB) of Uganda and is a member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE).
