Police commander vows to move out after failed attempt to disperse FDC Meeting

Today’s afternoon has been a battle of survival for the fittest in Hoima-Bunyoro as the Uganda Police Force attempted to disperse party officials who were conducting a meeting in FDC Party offices.

According to locals of the area Uganda Police personnel’s attempt was aimed to block the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) and People’s Government meeting of leaders and a public rally.

Police that had invaded the Party meeting in Hoima – Bunyoro with the view of dispersing it was instead defiantly dispersed by the People after a scuffle that took over 50 minutes.The meeting was presided over by FDC President Patrick Amuriat Oboi and Ingrid Turinawe.
