BIG changes in Argentina’s rumoured XI as Messi & Co get ready for Nigeria

According to Mundo Albiceleste, there are going to be some serious changes in Argentina’s line-up for the third match of the World Cup group stage.

The most obvious substitution that Jorge Sampaoli is expected to make is starting Franco Armani instead of Willy Caballero whose mistake lead to Croatia’s first goal in the latest 0-3 defeat.

Besides, Argentina are likely to switch the formation refusing from the 3-4-3 and going back to the usual 4-3-3 with Gabriel Mercado and Marcos Rojo playing on the flanks and Nicolas Otamendi and Federico Fazio forming the pair in the centre.

Ever Banega who put up a decent performance against Iceland is expected to make his return to the squad starting alongside Javier Mascherano and Lucas Biglia.

Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Angel Di Maria will be responsible for much-needed goals against Nigeria on June 26.
