Marouane Fellaini has been mocked by his club and country team-mates over his new look.
The Red Devils star sported the bushy haircut for more than 10 years. When the Belgium ace joined Everton in 2008 he inspired Toffees fans to wear Fellaini wigs to Goodison Park.
However, Fellaini has decided to celebrate his 31st birthday, on Thursday, by opting for a clipper cut and going short all over.
The footie star captioned his post with: “New year, new look #birthdaytomorrow.”
His team-mates soon reacted to the post.
Both Eric Bailly and Dries Mertens commented “Noooooo” on the post.
Vincent Kompany, meanwhile, was convinced it was an edited he photo. The Manchester City defender commented: “It’s photoshopped, it can’t be true!!”
Fellaini also received a mixed reaction from fans.
Several supporters replied to his post with: “Nooooooooooo.”
While another fan posted: “Looks more like a warrior!! Looks like a United warrior.”
Fellaini is still with United in the United Kingdom after not being selected for Belgium’s most recent international squad.
