MP Betty Nambooze rushed to hospital after falling down stairs

Mukono Municipality Member of Parliament (MP) Hon Nambooze Bakireke Betty suffered a fall at her home in Mukono.

According to reports, Nambooze took a spill down a flight of stairs. The legislator is said to have suffered several injuries, but fortunately, they are not severe.

“My doctor has today told me to go and thank my Lord for falling a dozen steps, losing all that blood, and the CT-scan telling the medics that your skull is intact,” said Nambooze in a social media post.


“Well I have a lot of pain but at least there is no internal bleeding or completely broken bone,” she added.

Nambooze is receiving treatment at Bugolobi Medical Centre.
