Bebe cool’s tondeka ekiwatule concert opened it’s doors at 4:00pm with curtain raisers singing and dancing with the excited fans.
Police said Bobi didn’t secure the authorization to hold the concert.
On his part, Bobi said he wrote to police to inform them about the music concert.
“I feel bad for Bobi Wine, but it is his organisers that did bad to advertise the concert before getting clearance from Authorities,” said Bebe a few hours before his concert.
“I am a friend to President Museveni but I went through all procedures,” he added.
The ‘Tondeka e Kiwatule Mutima Gwa Zzabu’ concert is meant to raise school fees for 200 needy children under a charity project run by Bebe Cool.
During the music show, Bebe appeared to have intensely prepared for the show – both physically and emotionally.
His performances were hugely energetic as he sang and danced for the fans.
Occasionally, Bebe joined the excited fans whom he asked to sing along with him most of his latest hits.
His latest club anthem ‘Wasibuka Wa’ saw a sea of fans drown in ecstasy as they recited the song.
Bebe could not hide his satisfaction.
“I am so grateful to all of you for coming in big numbers to Kiwatule,” he said.
“I will be eternally grateful to you for standing with me in good and hard times.”
He also praised fans for supporting his ‘Mutima Gwa Zzabu’ initiative which is raising school fees for 200 kids.
Some of the artistes who performed at the event include Fik Femeika, Gravity, A Pass, Irene Ntale and Catherine Kusasira***Reader Notice***: If you are facing scrolling difficulties please kindly clear your cookies and cache for this website
