A police detective has on Thursday, 13 revealed the type of gun used in the murder of child rights activist Kenneth Akena.
While appearing as the 11th prosecution witnesses ,in a court session in which businessman Mathew Kanyamunyu and his girlfriend are being tried for the alleged murder of child rights activist Kenneth Akena, police detective Robinah Kirinya has revealed the type of gun used in the murder.
The detective presented a bullet recovered from Akena’s body and revealed that the bullet was fired from a short-barreled firearm[pistol] that can be held and used with one hand.
Prosecution states that Kanyamunyu and his girlfriend on November 12, 2016 on Kampala-Jinja Road highway near Malik car bond opposite Uganda Manufacturers Association main gate, murdered Akena after he scratched their car as he reversed.
