Zinedine Zidane will return to management “soon”.
That is the verdict from his son, Enzo.
France legend Zidane quit as Real Madrid boss earlier this summer having historically masterminded three successive Champions League triumphs.
But the 46-year-old has been strongly linked with both Manchester United and Bayern Munich since amid pressure surrounding their respective bosses Jose Mourinho and Niko Kovac.
And midfielder Enzo, 23, who is now playing for Spanish second-tier side Rayo Majadahonda on a loan deal from Swiss outfit Lausanne, insists his dad is ready to return to management.
“We all know that my father loves football and loves being a coach,” he said, speaking to Spanish newspaper AS.
“I am sure he will return in a short time. It’s his decision.
“Now he is making the most of resting that he needed because at the end of the day Real Madrid is nice, but tough, with lot of work.”
Zidane has been one of the bookmakers favourites to succeed Mourinho at Old Trafford, should the Portuguese leave.
Last month former United ace Paul Ince backed Zidane as a perfect candidate for the job.

“He came in and won Champions League after Champions League, just phenomenal.
“He had a style at Real Madrid. And it got the best from their attacking players.
“Players bought into it. Zidane’s way of playing got them on side and that, for me, was significant.
“You look at United now and they don’t have a way of playing.
“But Zidane did at Real. And if he gets the United job I see him using that same style.”
